The story
La Coupole opened in December 1927 and quickly became the meeting place of the neighborhood's artists and Surrealists.
Maria de Naglowska settled there after the Rotonde. According to Marc Pluquet, she had her table there almost every evening around 7 p.m., in the “occultists' corner” near the winter garden. People came to consult her, to buy La Flèche, her “organ of magical action”, or to hear about the Third Era, that of the Holy Spirit, which she proclaimed.
