The story
The church of Notre-Dame-des-Champs, built from 1867 to 1876 on boulevard du Montparnasse, takes its name from a former priory in the neighborhood.
Her disciple Marc Pluquet reports that Maria de Naglowska, despite the sulfurous reputation of her rites, came here every afternoon for her personal devotions: she called herself a Christian and saw her Third Era as the fulfillment, not the negation, of the two preceding ones.
